I do this when Iโ€™m watching TV, reading, eating, and scrolling through social media. I also ask myself this when it comes to my business and personal relationships. Asking myself this helps me be aware of the things Iโ€™m digesting and how Iโ€™m spending my time.

Mindfulness is key! It gives you a different perspective of things and helps you identify what matters in your life.

Itโ€™s no secret that minorities are underrepresented in high tech places. Regardless of the countless times, we have proven to be exceptional in the industry.

๐’๐จ, ๐ก๐จ๐ฐ ๐œ๐š๐ง ๐ฐ๐ž ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ๐จ๐ญ๐ž ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐ข๐ง๐œ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ž๐œ๐ก?

Itโ€™s simple, hire more minorities. And let us make executive decisions.

Racism and gender bias are very common in STEM. However, we are moving into a time where itโ€™s more common to call out the discriminatory behavior.

Side note: Always is a strong word, so I wouldnโ€™t necessarily say that it has ALWAYS happened but it has definitely occurred multiple times throughout my career. ๐Ÿ’œ
