If OCR called your practice tomorrow and asked for evidence of your compliance program, how long would it take to pull it together?

For most independent practices, the honest answer is days, if it exists at all. Screenshots buried in email. A risk assessment from two years ago. Policies nobody can locate.

Audit readiness isn't a separate project from the work you're already doing. It's simply keeping evidence of your risk assessments, policy updates, training records, and remediation steps organized as you go, so nothing has to be reconstructed under pressure.

Practices that treat evidence collection as ongoing, not reactive, walk into a review calm. Practices that don't spend that time scrambling instead of practicing medicine.

An Executive Discovery Call is a good way to see where your evidence trail has gaps before someone else finds them.

Why do you think most practices only think about audit readiness after they've already been asked to prove something?

If someone asked your practice to prove your compliance program exists right now, how fast could you actually pull it together?

This is usually where the stress shows up, not because practices are doing something wrong, but because the proof of what they've done well is scattered across emails, drawers, and old files.

Staying audit ready just means keeping that evidence organized as you go, instead of rebuilding it under pressure.

Why do you think most practices only start thinking about this after they've already been asked to prove something?

You've probably typed a prompt into ChatGPT and thought, "this could probably do more than fix my email."

That instinct is exactly what From Prompt to Persona is built around. Terry Baylor and Jenai Tidwell created this workshop to help business owners turn scattered AI use into one dedicated assistant, built for a specific role your business actually needs.

Two sessions in Houston. September 2nd for business owners. September 3rd for Texas clinicians, with CEU credit included.

No fluff, no fake data, just real hands-on building from start to finish. You leave with a persona that's already built and tested. Spots are limited, and group rates are available for teams of three or more.

Most people using AI are still just typing prompts into a chat box and hoping for the best.

Terry Baylor and Jenai Tidwell created From Prompt to Persona to give business owners something better: a real, working AI assistant built around one specific role your business actually needs, not another prompt you'll forget by next week.

This is happening twice in Houston. September 2nd is for business owners. September 3rd is for Texas clinicians and includes CEU credit.

No fluff, no fake data, just hands-on building from start to finish. You walk out with a persona that's already built and tested. Spots are limited, and group rates are available for teams of three or more.

If you're using AI, it probably still feels like a chat box instead of a teammate.

Terry Baylor and Jenai Tidwell built From Prompt to Persona to fix that. You leave with a built and tested starter persona, a real assistant for a role your business actually needs, not another one-off prompt.

Two dates in Houston. September 2nd for business owners. September 3rd for Texas clinicians, with CEU credit included.

No fluff, no fake data. Just hours of real, hands-on building. Spots are limited, and group rates are available for teams of three or more.

Compliance often stalls right after the paperwork gets done, and it's usually because no one carved out time to actually work through it together.

A risk assessment tells you what needs fixing. Turning that into action usually takes the whole team in a room, not just one overworked office manager.

When physicians, front desk, and IT walk through the findings together, gaps get owners and deadlines instead of sitting in a folder.

Why do you think compliance work is so often left to one person, even in practices with a full team?

Could your staff pull up your HIPAA policies right now if a patient asked how their records are protected?

A lot of practices have good instincts and no paperwork to back them up.

Written policies aren't about bureaucracy. They give your team a clear, consistent answer every time, and they're one of the first things a reviewer asks to see.

Why do you think written policies are one of the easiest things to let go stale, even in practices that genuinely care about doing this right?

Most private practices have never had a real HIPAA risk assessment.

Not because they don't care about their patients.

Because nobody ever explained what one actually involves, or why the Security Rule requires it every year.

A real risk assessment maps where patient data lives, who can access it, and what could go wrong if it were exposed.

It is not a checkbox exercise. It is the document OCR asks for first when a complaint or breach investigation begins.

Practices that have one on file walk into a review with confidence. Practices that don't are starting from zero, under pressure, with a deadline.

If it has been a while since your practice completed one, an Executive Discovery Call is a good place to start.

Why do you think risk assessments get pushed to the bottom of the list, even when everyone knows OCR asks for them first?
