Thaddeus has over 30 years of experience in the graphic design field and much of his work can be seen on billboards, brochures and local magazines in the Golden Triangle area (Beaumont, Port Arthur and Orange, TX) as well as in Houston.

Alphonse Mucha was an influential 20th century Art Nouveaux artist whose distinctive style continues to influence the works of many other artists to this day. He's one of those artists whose work I try not to keep around me because it makes me tend to want to do artwork the way he did. I found my Alphonse Mucha coloring book in the storage room at school in May and got the bug to draw something in that style; the first one went unfinished because I suddenly came up with a better idea. Then I purchased an Alphonse Mucha art book that further fueled the fire. I did the basic pencil sketch in May and only managed to do the bulk of the digital work in late June and early July. I present to you, "Goddess Avarice," my modern day Alphonse Mucha homage.

Sometimes having a demanding client isn't a bad thing. I just finished a project for the Houston Swim Club that involved me illustrating various sea animals to represent their swimmer levels. It started in the summer...and there were many versions that didn't work for the client...but I finally finished the last character last week. The good thing is that HSC knows they can be demanding, and thus didn't mind paying for the work in installments along the way. The balance was paid as soon as the final images were delivered. Everybody's happy!
