Marketing jargon will not grow the business.

In this episode of The HEX-Files Energy Marketing Podcast, host Arnaud Dasprez welcomes David Reid, Chief Technology Officer and Chief Marketing Officer of NOV and Chief Executive Officer of redM.

Together they explore why marketing leaders need a deeper connection to the business and its products to support growth.

CMOs lose credibility when marketing language is disconnected from business reality.

A marketing role should contribute to growth, not operate beside it.

That starts with understanding how the business actually works.

Product experience creates context that no messaging framework can replace.

Seeing what breaks reveals what customers truly encounter.

That firsthand understanding sharpens the connection between marketing and the business.

It also helps marketers move beyond abstract positioning.

Growth depends on translating operational reality into relevant market value.

The strongest marketing leaders stay close enough to the product to understand the problems it solves.

The future demands two solutions.

In this episode of The HEX-Files Energy Marketing Podcast, host Arnaud Dasprez sits down with Bobby Tudor, Chief Executive Officer of Artemis Energy Partners.

The discussion focuses on the evolving outlook for oil and gas demand, the reality of greenhouse gas emissions, and why the future of energy depends on balancing sustainability with reliability, affordability, and security.

The energy conversation has become too polarized.

One side focuses on emissions.

The other focuses on reliability and affordability.

But the future demands both.

Ignoring climate challenges won't make them disappear.

Ignoring energy security isn't an option either.

The companies that lead the next decade won't pick one priority over another.

They'll find ways to deliver cleaner energy without compromising reliability or economic growth.

The real opportunity lies in solving both challenges at the same time.

Markets always outperform political agendas.

In this episode of The HEX-Files Energy Marketing Podcast, host Arnaud Dasprez sits down with Bobby Tudor, Chief Executive Officer of Artemis Energy Partners.

The conversation explores why technology and market forces consistently outweigh policy, and how innovation determines
whether emerging energy solutions become commercially viable.

Policy can influence direction.

But markets decide what scales.

History has shown that governments can set ambitions.

Technology determines whether those ambitions become reality.

The biggest shifts in energy have rarely happened because they were mandated.

They happened because innovation made them economically impossible to ignore.

The companies that win won't just build cleaner solutions.

They'll build solutions that make financial sense.

That's where real transformation begins.

Somewhere right now, a well is being operated, a pipeline is being monitored, and a refinery is turning crude oil into products that shape our world. It's impossible to separate the energy industry from our daily lives, and every link in the value chain plays a part.

None of that happens by accident. The world runs because of the operators, engineers, and crews who show up for the hard, unglamorous work. Our future will continue to be shaped by both the operators with boots on the ground and the innovators who tirelessly explore new approaches.

Today is for everyone who contributes to the world's complex, ever-evolving energy value chain. Happy National Petroleum Day to every client and partner who lets us tell their story. We're lucky to get a front-row seat to what you build.

Technology always outpaces predictions.

In this episode of The HEX-Files Energy Marketing Podcast, host Arnaud Dasprez welcomes Bobby Tudor, Chief Executive Officer at Artemis Energy Partners.

They explore how innovation, markets, and entrepreneurship will shape the future of the energy transition, the role of policy, and why technology continues to redefine what's possible.

Every energy transition feels like it needs one perfect solution.

But history keeps proving otherwise.

Real progress comes from thousands of breakthroughs happening at the same time.

Markets reward what works.

Technology makes what once seemed impossible economically viable.

Policy can accelerate change, but innovation creates momentum that lasts.

The biggest opportunities often appear where no one was looking a decade ago.

The future won't be built by waiting for a silver bullet.

It will be built by people willing to solve problems one innovation at a time.

Respect earns more customers than pressure.

In this episode of The HEX-Files Energy Marketing Podcast, host Arnaud Dasprez sits down with Dan Yates, the CEO and Chairman of Dandelion Energy Dandelion Energy, Board Member of NRDC and an Investor & Advisor for Various Startups.

They explore how strategic marketing builds lasting relationships with builders and why respect is one of the most effective sales tools.

B2B marketing isn't about chasing prospects.

It's about making it easier for them to find value.

Map the right stakeholders.

Support your sales team with better intelligence.

Meet your audience where they already gather.

Let satisfied customers tell the story. Educate before you sell.

Build credibility before you ask for commitment.

The best marketing creates trust.

The worst marketing creates pressure.

Respect your prospects, and they'll remember your brand long before they're ready to buy.

Scale deeper before growing wider.

In this episode of The HEX-Files Energy Marketing Podcast, host Arnaud Dasprez sits down with Dan Yates, the CEO and Chairman of Dandelion Energy, Board Member of NRDC, and an Investor & Advisor for Various Startups.

They discuss scaling clean energy businesses, regional expansion strategies, and how incentives are accelerating geothermal adoption across the U.S.

Scaling isn't about being everywhere.

It's about winning somewhere first.

Too many companies chase every opportunity before proving their model.

The strongest businesses build deep roots before planting the next flag.

Market by market. Customer by customer.

As costs fall and incentives grow, new opportunities naturally open.

Sustainable growth isn't driven by speed alone.

It's driven by timing, discipline, and ex*****on.

Affordability changes every buying decision.

In this episode of The HEX-Files Energy Marketing Podcast, host Arnaud Dasprez sits down with Dan Yates, the CEO and Chairman of Dandelion Energy, Board Member of NRDC, and an Investor & Advisor for Various Startups.

They explore how builders overcome adoption barriers, the role of affordability in today's housing market, and why innovation wins when it solves real business problems.

Builders aren't afraid of innovation.

They're afraid of unnecessary risk.

And that's a smart business decision.

When your success depends on delivering homes without costly surprises, proven systems always win over hype.

The breakthrough happens when innovation doesn't add risk, it removes it.

Lower construction costs. Greater differentiation.

A stronger value proposition for homebuyers.

The companies winning today aren't asking builders to gamble.

They're giving them better economics and more confidence.
