About last weekend...
Dilemma: 2 kids playing soccer and an HPE SimpliVity cluster that needs to be upgraded to the recently released major update v5.0.0, including the upgrade from ESXi 7.0.3 to 8.0.2...
Why not do both at the same time? With SimpliVity yes you can!
I updated the first cluster node during the game of my son in the morning, and the second node in the afternoon when my daughter was playing her game... Had a great weekend with the kids AND zero downtime in the data center...
For those who remember, one of my my previous upgrades was done when my kids where at a theme park... What will be the next inspiring location to do an update?
