Embroidered this amazing Van Gogh design and I learned something cool!
When originally painted, this piece was done in violet using geranium red and blue. Over time the red faded leaving behind the blue we all know and recognize.
I wonder...what the original looked like. Yep, I think I'm going to do this one again ...in violet!!
