I see a lot of friends of mine that get their accounts "hacked" or get unwanted messages from people they don't know. I work with a lot of clients on social media and I wanted to share what your Personal settings SHOULD look like on your account. You have to set these like this, as they don't come default, this way. It'll hide your friends lists from strangers, people will not be able to message you unless you are friends of them, or friends of friends (you decided which you want), and people will not be able to still your images to doublicate your account to pretend to be you, and then try to message your friends list. That's the scenario that usually happens. You're not being hacked, you are being "copied" and then they pretend to be you. Go into your settings on your facebook account and set your settings to the following. I will make this post public so that you can share it with your friends as well.

Additionally, go into your security settings and turn on DOUBLE AUTHENTICATION, so your have to have your phone texted to get logged into your facebook account. IF anyone were to actually get ahold of your account login details, this will help keep your account safe.

BELOW>>> You will see in the comments of this post ALL of the scammy people trying to "help me" recover my account just because I had the words "hacked" in it. They are ALL FAKE people and scammers. Don't click on their comments. This shows how important it IS to keep your accounts secure! I go through EACH of these fake posts below and report them, then delete them so that my followers won't be tricked into trying to use their services.
