There is so much power in one photo alone and it can withstand the test of time. For me, photography has always been a creative outlet for me to share and express what I see from the lens' perspective. I desire to use my photography to capture precious moments in life, to tell a story of my personal experiences and of others, and to share the beauties of this place we call Earth. In my personal ex

periences, I've used my photography to capture the essence of my life, to tell a story, and to share the beauties of the world we live in with others. My love for capturing precious moments has led me towards become more involved with photography. Reflecting on the wide range of photos that I have, it was important that I get more serious about making my personal brand a top priority. Although I am learning and perfecting my craft, I want to make sure my photos (especially the good ones) get all of the credit that they deserve. If there is anything that I want to before I leave this world, it is to inspire others, spread happiness, and leave my mark by making a difference. I want to leave a positive lasting impression, an imprint, for others to follow by example. One way of leaving my mark in the form of digital photography is by capturing once-in-a-lifetime moments that that tell a story. This is the beginning of a long, but very fulfilling, journey ahead. We are all artists in our own respect and we are blessed with God-given talents. We all have a voice and ideas to spread. Don't let your gifts go to waste. What's your mark? Laugh. Love. Leave your mark.

Three shots of the solar eclipse in color. 🌙

What an amazing and breathtaking experience it was to witness and to capture this solar eclipse. As I was filled with jitters about how things would look around me or what I’d actually see, I felt the magnitude and glory of God in how He orchestrated the entire universe to be as it is and how He allowed me and many others to experience this phenomenon. I just had to grab my camera and my phone to document this entire moment.

This eclipse was very real. This is science. It really happened today. God is also real and He’s still at work in my life. He loves me and He loves you too! I pray that others may experience His goodness and love.

Happy Friday !

I am so excited to share that a few of my portraits from my Series have been selected and will be featured in a new collaborative exhibit titled “Welcome To The Garden” with Shop Made In DC and Black Girls In Art Spaces during the entire month of February! 😍

This exhibit will be on display from February 2nd-29th and it celebrates and uplifts the artistry and stories of several Black Women Artists.

“”Welcome to the Garden” is a captivating art exhibit brought to life through a collaboration between Black Girls In Art Spaces and Shop Made in DC. Together, we present a collection of art celebrating and uplifting Black artistry and stories.
The exhibit unfolds like a flourishing garden, where each piece serves as a blooming flower, revealing the diverse perspectives and stories woven into the fabric of Black womanhood. The curated collection of paintings, photography, mixed media, and more, create an oasis of communal care to be explored individually and together.”
