EmB Computing Update | Governor Wolf’s Mandate
Update as of March 20th, 2020
In light of Governor Wolf’s recent announcement on March 19, 2020, EmB Computing will be prioritizing and servicing all Life Essential businesses by remote access first unless otherwise denoted.
EmB Computing wanted to let our customers know that WE ARE OPEN and here to support our commercial and residential customers during this time of need.
We know with the suspension of in person work activities, social activities, school cancellations, etc. that being able to “connect” and “communicate” via electronic means is a high priority.
We have many commercial customers that are in healthcare, emergency response, local government, public utilities and other “ESSENTIAL” industries and organizations and our staff is geared up to respond to those needs.
In order to handle the increased workload our office has received, we wanted to let everyone know that our priority is to make sure everyone’s computer networks, computers and communication tools stay up and running, but we will be prioritizing our incoming support tickets in this order:
1. Emergency Response / Healthcare / Local Government / Public Utilities - (Remote Support and On-Site IF needed)
2. Other businesses deemed “essential” - (Remote Support and On-Site IF needed)
3. Non-Essential Organizations - (Remote Support Only)
4. Residential Customers - (Remote Support Only)
We are also taking steps to maintain the “social distancing” that our government officials have mandated.
