Ai Fusion Conference Panel Spotlight: Cully Clark – Panel Moderator
Clark Cully, Ph.D., Technology Division Chair at Indiana Wesleyan University's DeVoe School of Business, Technology, and Leadership, is known for his insightful leadership and strategic vision. Before his current role, Cully served as the Deputy Chief Data Officer (CDO) at the Department of Defense (DoD). He led the development of the DoD’s Data Strategy, established the CDO organization, and integrated data into the Department’s Digital Modernization program. His extensive background includes roles as an advisor in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, authoring parts of key defense strategies, and managing DoD programs on 5G technology, innovation, professional education, nuclear weapons policy, and command and control modernization. Cully's experience spans various technology and policy positions across national security, including at the DoD Office of Defense Research & Engineering, the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, NATO ISAF Headquarters in Afghanistan, the U.S. Department of Energy, and the National Academy of Sciences.
