Today we celebrated the incredible achievements of our Carver Elementary 4th & 5th Grade students at the Promotion & Awards Ceremony for 2025-2026 School Year! 🎓✨ Congratulations to all of our students for their hard work, growth, and success throughout the school year.

A very special thank you to Principal Moore, Assistant Principal Johnson, Counselor Johnson, Academic Coach Berdin-George, Secretary Brown, and all of our amazing 4th & 5th Grade teachers and assistant teachers for your dedication, support, and commitment to our students each day. As we prepare to begin tomorrow 4-29-26, we are excited to introduce a special initiative to support and uplift our students:

“Drop-Off by Dads” ‼️ 🧔🏽‍♂️👴🏽👨🏽‍🦳👱🏼‍♂️🧔🏻‍♂️

We are inviting all fathers, grandfathers, uncles, older brothers, mentors, and positive male role models to personally drop students off at school tomorrow morning. Your presence matters more than you may realize.

Research consistently shows that when fathers and positive male figures are actively involved in a child’s education, students are more likely to:

* Perform better academically
* Demonstrate stronger confidence and focus
* Show improved behavior and motivation in school

Simply put—your presence helps set the tone for .

Even if you are unable to attend in person, we ask that you take a moment tonight and each morning during testing to:

* Send a quick text
* Make a phone call
* Leave a note of encouragement

A simple “You’ve got this,” or “I’m proud of you—go do your best,” can make a powerful difference in how our students approach these important assessments.

🚀 Carver Elementary Math Night – A Great Success! 🚀

Last night, Carver Elementary was filled with excitement, energy, and learning as we hosted our Math Night, and what an incredible success it was! More than 100 parents and students joined us in the gym to engage in fun, interactive math activities that highlighted the power of learning together.

Families participated in games, problem-solving challenges, and even our exciting “Are You Smarter Than a Carver Scholar? – Brain Bowl Edition!” Students proudly demonstrated their skills while parents had the opportunity to experience firsthand how math is taught and practiced at Carver.

A special thank you to our outstanding Math Team for their dedication in making this event engaging and meaningful for our scholars and families. We would also like to give a huge shoutout to our Math Lead Teacher, Ms. Johnson, whose leadership, organization, and vision made this amazing evening possible.

Most importantly, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to all of the parents and students who attended and supported the event. Your involvement makes a tremendous difference in student success. Research consistently shows that when families engage in learning activities with their children, student achievement increases and confidence in academic skills grows.
