I’ve been feeling especially icky on social media for months now.

Every hook I see aims at scaring me or making me feel behind, and I hate that it works.

The sh*tty part is I’ve fallen for it too, writing hooks like that — just to capture your attention — and it’s never felt right or good.

I want to create content that leaves you feeling better than it found you, not worse.

There’s already enough pressure in our worlds as moms and solopreneurs. 😮‍💨

What happened when I started removing people from my email list 👀

My unsubscribe rate dropped and my open rate climbed. I can’t promise cleaning is the only reason, but it’s the one thing I stayed consistent on.

This one time I actually sent a single “do you still wanna be on this list?” email to about 500 people who hadn’t opened my emails in 6 months.

One (ONE!!!) person replied yes, and she’s extended family. LOL. 😅

That was a few years ago, and I looked at that one reply and thought, yeahhh, probably not worth it.

It’s why I usually just bless and release.

But I keep wondering what a short re-engagement workflow would do, so I walk through exactly what I’d send (and the three mistakes I’d watch for) in this week’s podcast episode.
