Congratulations to Loudoun County Public Library on winning the Virginia Library of the Year!

We are Virginia’s Library of the Year!

Loudoun County Public Library has been named the 2026 Virginia Library of the Year by the Virginia Library Association, and we are so proud to share this honor with the community that makes it all possible.

This recognition celebrates everything we’ve built together: 1.73 million visitors, 5.3 million checkouts, and over 10,000 free programs in the 2026 fiscal year alone. From opening our first branch in 1937 to standing 10 branches strong today, LCPL has never stopped reimagining what a library can be. This award belongs to every patron who walked through our doors, every staff member who showed up with expertise and heart, and our Library Board of Trustees for their unending support and advocacy. 🧡

📣Big news from NYC’s Upper East Side! We’re thrilled to celebrate the successful of launch of Library•Solution for Schools at The Chapin School.

And the excitement is shared — “Our K-3 teachers burst into applause when they say the new LS2 Kids PAC,” said, Liza Oldham, Director of Chapin’s Annenberg Center for Learning and Research

She also praised TLC’s implementation team, whose expertise “really stood out” throughout the process.
