Every year, our Founder & President implements a new Personal Improvement Project to help us Data41ers hone our skills, discover new hobbies, foster camaraderie and promote personal growth. This year's objective is all about creative problem-solving, social interaction and re-discovering your inner-child through board games!

Playing board games offers a wide range of health benefits. It improves cognitive health by stimulating memory, logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities. Board games encourage positive social and behavioral benefits too, like teamwork, communication, healthy competition and emotional competency. They also promote stress relief and personal well-being.​

So, here's the breakdown of our 2026 objective:

👯‍♀️ Choose a board game that requires at least two players
⏳ Set aside one session per week in your schedule with up to an hour of play
🚫 No online or digital games
💰 Data41 will help fund employees' chosen board games

Tell us your favorite board games -- we'd love to add some new ones to our cabinet!

Last week we hosted our Annual Winter Company Meeting and announced our 2025 Summit Award Winner! The Summit Award is voted on by all company members and is the highest honor you can receive at Data41. 🏆

This award symbolizes an individual in our company who exhibits passion, enthusiasm, positivity, and all the virtues that represent a great teammate. They are someone who constantly “moves the needle” and pushes all of us to be better. They are creative in their thinking, try new ideas, and find innovative ways to succeed. They represent Data41, our clients’ best interests, and promote us outside the four walls of our virtual offices every day – through interactions with clients, business partners, industry peers, and our local community.

This individual has made a difference for all of us in 2025. They exhibit unconditional support and are always available to help even if they are busy with their own tasks. You can always count on them to help us reach our collective objectives.

Last week the Data41 Team had the amazing opportunity to attend and present at the 2025 California Alliance of Child and Family Services Conference! 🧡🫂💙

This year's conference theme was , and it was coincidentally evident in our breakout session! We presented alongside our client McKinley Children's Center to share the AI solution we built for them to support clinical record summarization. It's an honor to promote the wonderful work they're doing and the technology we're implementing to help accelerate their purpose!

The solution we built automates administrative tasks, allowing their therapists and social workers to provide higher quality, and more concentrated care for their clients. McKinley is proof that Al can be used for the betterment of society.

Between the inspiring speakers, informative sessions, and those hallway conversations that spark real solutions, showed the true power of community. The energy, the ideas, the connections - this was exactly the fuel we needed to keep up the innovative momentum!

We left armed with fresh ideas, renewed passion, and a network of dedicated change-makers!

It's always a joy getting the team together to celebrate 1H highlights and to prep for the exciting things coming in 2H. We talked strategy, covered Q3 priorities, cheesed for a Teams selfie, and shared a yummy meal to commemorate our wins and round off the day!

We've said it before and we'll say it again: the people are the best part of the job! These meetings remind us how grateful we are to work with such a talented, loyal, and dedicated group of people.🧡
