Well I decided to finally get me a new tower case. After a little over 20 years (bought the one on the left during my last semester at Southern) I’m going to gut it and put everything in the new Fractal case. The new one has better airflow for both my video cards and is built for maybe putting in water cooling, which is something I’ve never done but wanted to try eventually. My old case will be going to Noel for a new setup after I get my man cave 😂. I’m still a tech at heart.

I’ve seen much worse. I’ve seen them so bad that a manager told me to take the tower outside and use air duster on it lol.

So very true. My first build many years ago I had issues with it even turning on. I took it to the place that I had gotten some of my parts. The tech laughed at me because I forgot to put in standoffs before I screwed the motherboard down. It was causing it to ground out and not turn on. Needless to say I made sure every build after that had them lol.

Cool name for a processor. Still won't buy anything AMD though. Jezebel went through 4 AMD processors. They might be fast but there's a price for speed and that's a lot of heat. I'll stick with Intel thank you.

Hmm Jezebel will hopefully be rebuilt next spring. A hexecore processor would be awesome for some gaming. Now to find a motherboard lol.

If they want someone to play the backward compatible games, there should be an incentive. I feel that if you are playing it on a newer console that there should be newer achievements to get as a result. I've played and beat games on the 360, then played the same ones on the One. There's achievements that you can get on it as well. I feel it should be the same for backward compatible games as well.

Aggregate sample shows newer console buyers don't want to play older games much.

The current setup for my desktop that I built was specifically built for Windows Vista. I can remember freaking out because it was crashing during setup because it couldn't handle the then unheard of 4 gigs of memory I was putting into it. Luckily, the first service pack was just coming out to fix the issue. Now Jezebel (yes I named my desktop) is running Windows 10 with almost the same setup hardware wise. Think it has went through a few video cards and two sticks of memory since I built her.
