As you may have already heard, big things are happening in Nassau County! 🚧📈

Governor Ron DeSantis recently announced more than $6 million in funding for Nassau County through the Florida Job Growth Grant Fund to build the roadway infrastructure needed to establish a new industrial and commercial site near the US-301 and I-10 interchange. This investment is expected to help create over 1,200 jobs and support growth in manufacturing, transportation, and logistics.

The announcement also included an exciting milestone—**Nassau County has officially been designated a Rural Area of Opportunity (RAO). This designation helps rural communities accelerate economic growth by attracting new industries, expanding workforce opportunities, and supporting long-term development.

Additional funding will support a new CDL training facility through North Florida Technical College, strengthening the region’s pipeline of skilled commercial drivers and supporting Florida’s growing logistics sector.

Together, these investments in infrastructure and workforce development position Nassau County as a key hub for job creation and economic opportunity in Northeast Florida.
