Another new construction project wrapped up.

Installed a full 42U 4-post network rack featuring a UniFi UDM Pro, UniFi 24 Port PoE switch, U7 Pro XG access points, Reolink 12MP spotlight cameras, and Reolink doorbells.

Ran Ethernet drops to every bedroom and office space to make sure this home is ready for reliable networking, streaming, gaming, and future smart home upgrades. Also left plenty of rack space for future audio/video expansion.

Clean, organized, and built to grow with the homeowner’s needs.

Teamed up with another local IT company on this security camera project. They handled the network setup, the electrician took care of the cabling, and I installed the junction boxes, mounted/aimed the cameras, and made sure everything was dialed in for the customer. Another clean install in the books.

We swapped out a legacy Speco camera system and replaced it with a UniFi Protect. The existing cabling was degraded, so we ran new cable where needed to make sure everything was solid and reliable.

Installed a UniFi G3 Reader Pro on the main entry door for secure badge and mobile access. Added a standard G3 Reader for wave-to-exit 👋 and tied everything into an Adams Rite strike for smooth operation.

Also wired an IT closet with a standard G3 Reader and UniFi strike so it can be fully controlled and monitored just like the main entry.
