🚨 Planned Power Outage Scheduled for City of Jasper Customers on August 8-9 🚨

The City of Jasper has announced that Entergy Texas has scheduled a planned emergency power outage to complete repairs at a switch station on Hi-Truitt Road.

🗓 When:
Saturday, August 8 at 12:00 a.m. (midnight) through 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 9

⚡ Who is affected:
All City of Jasper customers served by City Power.

During the outage:
💧 City crews will be maintaining water and wastewater facilities.
👮 The Jasper Police Department will have additional patrol units on duty.

According to the City, these emergency repairs are necessary and, if not completed promptly, could lead to a much longer and unplanned power outage in the future.

City officials apologize for the inconvenience and note that the outage is beyond their control.
