Keep your RMM. Remove its limitations.

Your RMM does a lot. That doesn't mean it has to do everything.

When third-party application management depends entirely on what your RMM supports, custom app deployments can quickly become scripts your team must build, troubleshoot, and maintain.

ThirdPatch gives MSPs another option.

With an RMM-neutral approach, ThirdPatch works alongside your existing toolset, so you can keep the RMM your team already knows while expanding how you manage third-party applications.

Less time working around the limitations of your tools. More time getting work done.

If your automation constantly needs fixing… is it really saving you time? 👀

Third-party software deployment often means maintaining scripts, fixing broken installers, updating versions, and troubleshooting deployments.

And every hour spent doing that is an hour your technicians aren't spending somewhere more valuable.

That's why we built ThirdPatch.

✅ 10,000+ supported applications
✅ RMM-neutral
✅ Custom application support
✅ Reusable packages
✅ Built for MSPs

Stop maintaining patching scripts. Start solving problems.

Things are hopefully back to normal for any N-central MSPs out there. We call the chaos of recent events "the zero-day world" -- and we work hard to help protect MSPs from it.

We just published a blog about protecting N-central instances with a WAF, and we think it's worth considering for any MSP who runs the software on-prem. It will always take time for:

- Security reports to be analyzed
- Patches to be written by vendors
- MSPs to install those patches

A WAF is what keeps your toolstack away from prying eyes from day zero until a security patch is available. Our WAF takes multiple technical controls and offers a simple drop-in deployment model for MSPs.

If you're an N-central MSP and want to learn more, you can find our blog here:

Protecting N-central with a WAF is important for MSPs running it on-premise. This blog covers WAF architecture for N-central.

🚨 N-central Users: Have You Patched Yet?

N-able has released a hotfix and mitigation guidance for a recently disclosed vulnerability affecting N-central.

If you manage N-central, now is a good time to verify you've applied the latest updates and reviewed the official advisory.

Patching should always be the first step.

After that, consider whether your internet-facing applications have the additional layers of protection they need. A Web Application Firewall (WAF) can be one part of a defense-in-depth strategy—but it should never replace timely patching.

Stay informed. Stay patched. Stay protected.

Your MSP tools are on the front lines of your business. Are they wearing body armor?

Every day, web applications face automated bots, malicious traffic, and attempts to exploit known vulnerabilities. While no single security solution can stop every threat, adding protective layers can significantly strengthen your defenses.

That's where a Web Application Firewall (WAF) comes in. By inspecting and filtering web traffic before it reaches your application, a WAF helps reduce exposure to common web-based attacks and provides an additional layer of protection.

At automationtheory.com, our Proxy WAF is designed to help MSPs protect the applications that matter most.

Your patching strategy shouldn't be limited by your management platform.

Many organizations rely on third-party applications every day, but not all use the same RMM or endpoint management solution. That's why an RMM-neutral approach to third-party patching can provide greater flexibility, helping IT teams adapt as their environments evolve.

In our latest blog, we explore why keeping your patch management strategy independent of a single RMM may help reduce vendor lock-in and simplify long-term endpoint management.

How does your organization manage third-party patching?

RMM-neutral third-party patching helps MSPs stay nimble and avoid vendor lock-in. This blog covers why this matters and how to make the jump.

We want YOU… to patch your third-party apps. 🫵

Windows updates get a lot of attention, but the apps running on top of Windows can be just as important to secure.

Browsers, PDF readers, remote access tools, collaboration apps, and other third-party software are frequent targets because they're widely used and often exposed to real-world attacks.

That's where ThirdPartyPatching.com comes in.

We help MSPs simplify third-party patching with a smarter, more manageable approach to keeping applications updated and reducing risk.

If third-party app patching is still taking too much time, relying on too many manual steps, or falling through the cracks, we can help.
