Meta was proud to be sponsor for the One Southern Indiana Chamber & Economic Development Annual Meeting at the beautiful Visit Huber's!

It was great to be in the room with more than 500 local residents, business owners, and community leaders who are investing in our community's future. Not only did we hear from Indiana University President, Pamela Whitten, but we were also able to celebrate the 2026 Ambassador of the Year, the 2026 Volunteer of the Year, and the 2026 Economic Development Project of the Year.

Big one to celebrate this year! Be Pro Be Proud is turning 10! For a whole decade, using hands-on simulators and Meta Quest headsets to bring technical careers to life, they've been showing students that a career in the skilled trades is something to be proud of, and we couldn't agree more. To mark the milestone, we’re teaming with BPBP for ten special events across our data center communities. Starting with the Be Pro Be Proud National Conference!

We were honored to be part of a conversation about how training, technology, and real career exposure come together to open doors for people in the communities we live and work in. We were happy to speak to a full house of 100+ workforce development and education leaders, employers, and policy makers from 15+ states! 🔧⚡🏗️

🏗️ America's Workforce Academy — the largest private-sector skilled trades commitment in American history: paid training that leads to an industry-recognized credential and a guaranteed job for graduates.

🥽 AI Glasses Impact Grants — Wearable technology delivering guided workflows and real-time expert access on the job site

🎓 Be Pro Be Proud — Hands-on career exploration in skilled trades through immersive Mobile Workshop experiences

Our BPBP partnership has engaged ~70,000 students to date through statewide support in Tennessee, New Mexico, and Texas and brought the program to data center communities in Illinois, North Carolina, and Ohio. Indiana is known as the Crossroads of America — and now it's at the crossroads of a new kind of career opportunity. America's Workforce Academy is launching in Indiana, the largest private-sector commitment to the skilled trades in American history. This free training program provides graduates with a guaranteed job on a Meta partner’s construction site. No experience needed. No cost. Meta supports all participants while they learn. It's a $115 million first year investment in the workers building AI infrastructure — and a real career path in the trades that are building our future.

Meta is growing in Indiana. Our Jeffersonville data center is already part of the community — supporting local jobs and awarding Community Action Grants to schools and nonprofits across Clark County. And earlier this year, we broke ground on a new campus in Lebanon, bringing even more investment and opportunity to the state. America's Workforce Academy builds on that commitment.

🌟 Last month, we hosted our very first Meta Data Center Community Action Grant ceremony right here in Jeffersonville — and what a day it was!

What an incredible evening! 🎉

We were proud to be part of the Greater Clark Educational Foundation Champions for Children celebration this year — an event that brought the community together to honor the educators, alumni, and partners who go above and beyond for Greater Clark County students.

More than $187,000 was raised to support our schools, and the energy in the room was a powerful reminder of why we love calling Jeffersonville home. The dedication of our community's teachers, staff, and school leaders is inspiring — and we're honored to support an organization that lifts them up and supports our students.

Big news in clean energy ☀️🔋

Last week, Meta announced two partnerships pushing the boundaries of what's possible for powering AI infrastructure.

We're working with Overview Energy to bring solar power from space to Earth—satellites collecting sunlight around the clock and beaming it to solar farms on the ground. And we're partnering with Noon Energy on ultra-long-duration storage that can hold clean energy for days, not just hours.

These are the kinds of investments that help strengthen the grid and support reliable power for our data center operations here and across the country.

Exciting progress continues at the Jeffersonville Data Center! Our spaces are taking shape, with new finishes and collaborative areas coming online. There are even fun conference room names like “Howard’s Hideaway,” a nod to the Howard Family and Jeffersonville’s steamboat heritage.

From construction crews to operations staff, everyone is working together to ensure a seamless and safe build. Thank you to our partners, skilled trade workers, and local vendors for their dedication and commitment.

🐝🦋🌻 Buzzing with Excitement for Pollinator Day! 🌻🦋🐝

We were proud to support Pollinator Day, hosted by the Purdue Extension Floyd County and Sunnyside Master Gardeners! Pollinators like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds play a vital role in our local ecosystem and food supply — and we're thrilled to help shine a spotlight on their importance right here in our community.

A big thank you to the Purdue Extension and Master Gardeners for putting together such a wonderful event to educate and inspire our neighbors about how we can all do our part to protect these essential creatures.

Meta was proud to sponsor this year’s Earth Day Cleanup Falls of the Ohio State Park alongside the Falls of the Ohio Foundation and Leadership Southern Indiana!

Together with more than 70 local volunteers, we rolled up our sleeves to help restore the riverfront — removing over 3,000 pounds of trash and debris to protect our community’s natural spaces. Our team showed up with 30 volunteers and removed over 1,000 pounds of trash! Events like this show the impact we can make when we work together for a cleaner, healthier environment.

Thank you to Turner Construction Company for volunteering and providing all the gloves and trashbags for this event, and to everyone in our community who joined us during this impactful day.
