New client scheduled an appointment through Home Advisor. Sets a time with us, is given name of tech that is coming. Then another company calls and says they are with home advisor and needs a credit card for X amount to cover the work to be done.

Please be extra careful when using home advisor and angie's list, they vet their contractors but you never know...

A professional company will never need your personal or credit card info over the phone, before even doing any work.

Client's machine, used by his secratary, had a catostrophic failure this past week.

Luckily we had previously set this client up with multiple fail safes, so nothing was lost and down time was kept at a minimum.
