Great conversations, great people, and just enough friendly competition to keep things interesting.

Kalmer Solutions had a wonderful time at the Missouri Bankers Association’s 136th Annual Convention and Golf Tournament. We were proud to sponsor hole #10 during the golf tournament at Buffalo Ridge Golf Course and enjoyed the chance to visit with every team that came through.

We also brought a little extra fun to the course with our “closest to the hole” challenge, and more than 21 players walked away as winners. Not bad for a day on the golf course.

Congratulations as well to Dianna Robb from Jonesburg State Bank, the winner of our giveaway drawing!

Thank you to the Missouri Bankers Association for hosting such a great event and to everyone who stopped by to visit with us. We’re grateful for the opportunity to connect with banking leaders and continue supporting organizations that help move communities forward.

Cybersecurity reports can be dense, but the latest Verizon Data Breach Investigations Report sends a clear message:

Attackers are not waiting around.

Vulnerabilities are taking longer to fix. Organizations are dealing with more critical vulnerabilities to patch. Ransomware remains a major factor. And employees are using non-company artificial intelligence accounts on company devices.

That last one should make every business leader stop scrolling.

Arkansas State University is partnering with Kalmer Solutions to launch the Red Wolf Security Operations Center (SOC), a student-led cybersecurity center designed to give students hands-on experience while strengthening the university’s digital infrastructure.

Set to launch in Fall 2026, the Red Wolf SOC will provide undergraduate and graduate students with real-world training in threat monitoring, incident response and cybersecurity operations alongside A-State IT professionals and industry mentors.

A-State extends its thanks to Kalmer Solutions for its investment, mentorship, and support in helping create this opportunity. The partnership will help students build the skills, experience and professional connections needed to succeed in high-demand cybersecurity careers while supporting workforce needs across the region and beyond.

We’re proud to partner with Arkansas State University to help establish the Red Wolf Security Operations Center, a student-led cybersecurity center designed to provide hands-on experience while strengthening the university’s digital infrastructure.

Set to launch in fall 2026, the Red Wolf Security Operations Center will be housed within A-State’s Information Technology Services division and will give students a real-world training environment where they can monitor cybersecurity threats, identify vulnerabilities, and support security operations in a controlled setting.

As the founding strategic industry partner, we’re honored to support this initiative through mentorship, training, collaboration, and ongoing investment in the program.

As our CEO, Nathan LaRue shared in the announcement: “This partnership is about investing in students early and giving them real-world experience.”
