We are currently looking for help on 1st shift (7a-3p), 2nd shift (3p-11p) and split shift (10a-6p or 11a-7p)

An ideal candidate MUST have Customer Service experience. Answering Service or Call Center experience is preferred. You should be able to learn quickly, sit for long periods of time, have respect and compassion for others, exceptional computer and typing skills and a pleasant speaking voice. Good grammar and spelling are also very important! Paid training will be provided.

We handle calls for medical offices, service companies, property management companies and more! Many times, you will be on the other end of the phone when someone is in distress and you will have the ability to assist that person in getting the help they need! Some people you speak to may not be pleasant, as emotions heighten for many when in distress, so you will need to maintain the ability to shrug off the occasional ill-mannered caller while remaining calm and kind.

Well you may be in luck! We are currently looking for weekly help on 2nd shift (anytime between 3p-11p, at management’s discretion) and mid-shift help on the weekend (9a-5p, 10a-6p, 11a-7p, etc.)

We at Community Answering Service are working hard to be prepared for whatever comes our way during this ever-changing event that is affecting the entire World.

We are disinfecting regularly, emphasizing proper hand-washing protocol and encouraging our employees to follow all recommendations by the City, County, State and Federal Government.

If call volume becomes exceptionally high, we will put a recording on our system that will play before every call letting the caller know that hold times may be longer than usual and to please call back at a later time if their call is something that can wait.

Because we handle emergency calls for almost all of our clients, we are considered essential personnel. That means we will be at work, assisting our clients in every way possible. While we have not dealt with this particular crisis before, we have dealt with many, many other crises including Kalamazoo being completely flooded not once but several times, blizzards, thunderstorms, etc. It is not uncommon during severe weather for 90% of our clients to close their businesses and send their employees home. During those times, as during this time, we will be here.

Wash your hands, cough or sneeze into your elbow, tip your take out or delivery drivers as if you were in their shoes and most importantly, take care of each other!
