A legacy desk with bones from the 40’s made it to Montana for a new chapter.
Still smells a little like smoke and fryer grease from the family biz back in Minnesota (in a handsome, musky kinda way).

Sets a proper, blue-collar vibe for working with the bits and boops and other challenges of the day.

They were both big on servant leadership. Something to remind oneself of regularly… like every time you sit down to work?
They built an absolute empire of sorts from a small diner on the side of what was then, an empty 2-lane highway just north on Minneapolis. Respect.

My brother-in-law .quaresma makes this. Even knows the farmer not far from their home in São Paulo. As clean as you can get. For the first time we can drink a ton of coffee on an empty stomach in the AM and not get gut rot! 😜 Coffee is not hard on the stomach, btw. BAD coffee is. The brand we are leaving is locally roasted, organic, etc, etc, by folks with mustaches and flannel and this is still a revelation of sorts.
