ETC has announced ColorSource PAR will be End of Life at the end of the year.

The great popularity of the ColorSource PAR V Zoom has made it the new workhorse wash light fixture from ETC. Between this and impending part obsolescence, ETC has decided to discontinue the ColorSource PAR fixture from their portfolio.

With nearly a quarter of a million ColorSource PAR fixtures sold over the past 12 years, it’s bittersweet to watch this fixture retire. But we know that between the ColorSource PAR V Zoom, Fresnel V, and Fresnel V MAX, you’ll still have plenty of wash light options for your customers’ rigs. ColorSource PAR jr is also a great recent addition to the family at 2/3 the output with fan-free operation!

Final orders for all other ColorSource PAR fixtures are due by October 30, 2026.
All orders, including those currently in the system on hold, must ship by the end of 2026.

Please contact me if you would like to bolster your CS PAR inventory before they are no longer available.

ETC’s technical services team will continue to support ColorSource PAR fixtures and facilitate repairs for as long as replacement parts remain available.

Niagara Takes Flight is Ontario's first flying-theatre attraction located inside Table Rock Centre in Niagara Falls, Canada. The experience combines aerial drone cinematography, motion simulation, and cultural interpretation, offering a new way for visitors to engage with the natural wonder of Niagara Falls and its heritage. Mulvey & Banani Lighting, a specialist lighting design consultancy, developed and integrated a dynamic lighting system—featuring Rosco X-Effects LED HO RGBW projectors—to enhance the immersive storytelling throughout the space.
