The next set of RISING UP - Stories of the Flood, is currently being filmed. This will be the KPD Edition and will fill in the timeline from July 3rd and the following days, and beyond. These are to help record the events of the tragic July 4th flood in Kerr County. The RISING UP series might be hard for some to watch but could help with the healing process for others. Our hearts and prayers go out to anyone who suffered loss from that devastating day. If you would like to be notified as each video is released, you can suscribe for free to the channel or keep watching this page for updates.

More Rising Up videos are being added. The latest one with Lee Pool, Fire Chief - Hunt Volunteer Fire Department, is now up. Trying to get one more done this week. These are not only a good historical record of the tragic event, they are healing for the people telling their stories, and for anyone watching with similar situations. The first two video sessions of "Rising Up" went very well. Thank you to the people who were willing to share their stories about the July 4th flood in the Texas Hill Country. This is not an easy thing to do for the people who went through it, but it's important to get the full stories out there. Every account is significant and they all need to be told. Telling your story, as well as people hearing others with similar situations, helps. There will be more scheduled in the next couple weeks, and for as long as it takes to record them. If you have a story you are willing to tell, or if you know someone who does, contact me and we will talk and get them scheduled. [email protected]. They will be posted in the next few weeks.
