What does Surefire Tech offer that the competitors don't? First off, a single employee. I do all of the scheduling, billing, bookkeeping, IT work, and support myself while working another job.
Second, I fix your computers, networks, and other electronics the way I would want someone to fix it for me. I don't charge outrageous amounts for what I do and I fix things to the best of my abilities.
Third, costs. I beat the competition (legitimate competition) hands down on pricing, skill, and customer satisfaction. Most "IT" outfits nearby charge an arm and a leg in order to provide you expensive enterprise solutions that create residual income streams, but do little to fix your problems and sometimes create more expensive issues in dealing with products meant for much much larger organizations than your own.
That being said, my client list has now grown to over 100 clients (and keeps growing at 25% year over year), so scheduling may be slower than normal. I try to take care of every client in a timely fashion but lately I've found myself getting more and more business emergencies. From time to time I may have to reschedule your job to a later date. This isn't ideal for me either (business doesn't stop for a postponed job it just backs everything up), but a business without internet or email isn't much of a business and business gets priority over personal issues. Remote options and drop off/pick up options are still available and advised at this time if you want the fastest turnaround. Also, ask yourself "Does my problem outweigh business downtime?" If the answer is no, expect delays for onsite services.
Not looking for sympathy, I'm looking for patience and a break. The reason I got into IT was genuine interests and the ability to do things that others can't, not the money. I enjoy what I do, and I especially enjoy the more complex problems, so keep them coming but keep my life in mind as well.
