When that bomb cyclone blew through the area. My 4001 only got a peak gust of 33 MPH, so I think the bearings needs to be replaced

What looks to be a complete 4001 with spare parts. The auction doesn't show the working wind sensors themselves so no telling what they look like. Also includes a lot of spare parts which are difficult to come by. Kinda pricey but it depends on how much we want it!

Here's a rarity...a standalone wind "computer" that uses the same sensors as the 4001. Looks to work well. A bit pricey maybe. Hopefully the seller will pack the wind sensors well as the plastic is likely brittle.

For sale is a Very Rare Good working complete Heath Kit IDW 1890 Digital Wind Computer. The video shows the read out blinking but I used a cell phone for Video and Pictures. They do not take good video or pictures of the digital read out.

Here's what seems to be a nice 1590 display with the old style reed switched wind sensors which will also work with The old analog weather station. The vane's fin is bent but should be an easy fix. The anemometer cups looks nice but if you buy this, insist that the cups be removed from the boom and packed well in bubble wrap and a separate box. Plastic gets very brittle over time.
