New site for long time Outer Banks client Donna Designs! They got a new theme with a full screen layout and some updated graphics using their fish rather than the crab from the old site. The update in theme also greatly improves their mobile layout, which is now responsive and flows based on the size of the screen.

We just completed this rack card for Bay Area Skydiving out of California. They bought 300 rack card holders to distribute throughout the area and we are printing 50,000 cards. That's enough to fill all the holders and have a few left over to hand out and refill holders. Thanks for the business Bay Area Skydiving. I'm glad we were able to bring your vision to life. Announcing the launch of our very first Learning Management website! Holistic Living is a life and healing coach offering courses on living a healthy, balanced life. Learning Management is a relatively new system that is becoming more and more popular that allows you to integrate online courses containing information, videos, quizzes etc into your website and provides structure like milestones, completion certificates, test scoring and more. We have worked on a few other Learning Management websites but this is our first complete build. More to come!

So here's a great use of the merge function in a marketing email I just got. They inserted information they know about me into the content, which is proven to be successful. Everyone loves to see their own name. It's the fastest way to get someone to identify with your piece.

Adding my street address again connects with me - my subconscious brain yells "hey, that's me! I know that address!" and I am further connected.

But the 'piece de resistance' ... the golden field here ... is the age of my home. It's public data, no big deal. But they remind me 3 times in the course of the email that My. Home. Is. So. OLD! It surely *must* be in need of repair. How is it even still standing, my 38 year old home?

The short and sweet text is followed by icons representing an array of typical problem areas in homes like mine. It's almost impossible to *not* to quickly identify with at least one of them, knowing full well that area of your home needs some work.
