The best backup protocols recommend following the "3 - 2 - 1" Backup.

You should have THREE copies of your data.

You should have TWO copies of your data available locally.

You should have ONE copy of your data offsite.

With BRAMBLE Backup, this is easy. Once you have configured your cloud-based backup, just make sure you have some type of external storage device, whether it is a flash drive, external hard drive, or network hard drive.

Then, simply open the settings in the BRAMBLE software, and select "Hybrid +". Enable that option, select a few options, and that's it! You are now following the best protocol of backup, and will have THREE complete copies of your data.

Why do we charge per GB, instead of selling unlimited storage options?

We used to sell backup on the unlimited storage model, where everyone pays the same price. What we found, however, is that MOST of our customers had fairly small amounts of data that they were backing up - under 10 GB.

So what does this mean? It means that they were paying the cost for users that had LOTS of data to backup - 50, 100, or even 500 GB.

We decided to move to a model where everyone pays for the amount of storage that they need, and for MOST customers this meant somewhat lower costs for backup.
