KaleDog Press is a side project, as a semi-retired graphic designer, I have been working with cut vinyl and custom apparel for over 25 years. As the full time caregiver for a disabled veteran, I have learned to appreciate humor and sarcasm in dealing with our stressful world and have star

ted up this project as a creative outlet that just might spread a little joy in the world. The items that will be offered utilize a blend of commercially sourced designs as well as fully original artwork and for transparency, occasional AI elements. All of the finished products are crafted in house, locally. DTFs available for purchase for home use may be either custom designs and/or commercial overstock. Currently I am not taking custom orders or clients but I do welcome suggestions. A dedicated storefront will not be opening at this time, but I will be partnering with local businesses and events where possible.

Blub blub. Taking a break from replanting blackberries this morning to build a fishie tank for this little lady and 5 of her friends. Big thanks to our local fish rescue Pendley's Plentiful Pets, Fish Tank Cleaning - Arizona Fish Rescue for taking the time to help me go through all the items in their yard sale today and pick out everything i need for a cute indoor 15gal aquarium and a small outdoor pond for the papyrus I bought at the cerbat garden club annual plant sale on Friday.

Another restock for the seed co-op at Alice's Market Place We are doing the cracker Jack Marigolds today. Rumor has it they can reach heights of 4 ft or taller in good conditions. This will be my first year trying them so I guess we'll find out. We're stuffing these baggies fat today and headed out to the marketplace this afternoon. Grab yours behind the bowling alley off Stockton Hill road Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.. Seed co-op packets are $2 for individual varieties and $3 for our custom microgreen blends. Don't forget to grab some Bentley seed packs as well and get your free Earth Day seeds with your Bentley purchase through Saturday while supplies last.

Restocking Moringa Tree seeds at the co-op down at Alice's Market Place this week. Don't let that 170 days to full maturity scare you, did you know that there is still over 200 days until our expected first hard frost day? Traditionally we do not usually have our first freeze until well into November, even later for lower elevations like golden valley. If you want a faster return and you struggle with the heat of mid summer, consider starting some faster growing seeds indoors on the 4th of July, if you transplant in mid August with some heat protection that still gives you 90 days to frost. That's plenty of time for most garden veggies (except the moringa). Sometimes we need to get creative but one thing we get plenty of is time.

If anyone is looking for an aphid trap crop I highly recommend purple kohlrabi I don't even remember planting these they must have been in a microgreen mix that I put out to grow outside but holy smoly they were in a part of the garden I hadn't gotten to yet and I thought they just didn't like the heat boy was I wrong.
