I'm super excited to share my new gear upgrade with you!

2 years ago I purchased my first high quality piece of glass. It was a good knockoff brand that helped me capture crisper photos, especially in low light, and I still use that lens every race weekend. I've added some other quality pieces during this time but have never, until now, invested in a Canon USM lens. USM lenses offer "fast, snappy, and aggressive autofocus," which I'm betting will be game changing for my sports and action photography.

I've been looking at investing in the 24-70mm F2.8 since I went to Lakeport last year. My goal was to get one before I go back, and I'm super proud to share with you that I've accomplished that mission. I'll be testing it out this weekend on a family trip before I take it to Chowchilla and Lakeport races in November.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported my journey. I look forward to growing more and continuing to provide you with photos you enjoy sharing.

Did you know that we offer skinny 12oz neoprene can koozies?

Neoprene koozies are great because they dont wear down like the cheap foam ones. In winter they help keep you hands warm while your beverage stays cold. Order your own 10 pack today by messaging us!

This weekend I had the rare pleasure of just focusing my camera on the action that takes place on race day! I shot from the infield, grid, exit, and the stands. I even brought my collapsible stool to the infield during the evening heats to capture the front stretch from a lower angle, giving the cars a more dynamic look. Scroll through to check out some of my favorite photos from this weekend.
