One of my greatest joys is to spend time with my family enjoying the beauty of northern Michigan. To reap the benefits of this beautiful place we call home, we must also put in the work - clean up after yourself and if you see trash, pick it up and dispose of it properly. If we are the example, our young ones will mimic the behavior and ideally it will be something they just do in their daily routines. Live every day like it is Earth Day! 🌱

John and I took ten days off and unplugged from work to spend some much needed quality time with the boys. Each day Thomas is becoming more of a teen and these family trip opportunities soon won’t be exciting to him. We had an amazing week of fun in the sun, trying new foods, learning a bit about history and sea animals, pool swimming and enjoying each other. I needed this week more than I could have imagined - I am so blessed to have these loves in my life ❤️❤️ Thank you to my co-workers for holding down the cherry fort and to my design clients for being patient while I recharged my batteries. It made it so much easier to be present in the moment with my boys ❤️❤️

Wow 🤩 what a year 2021 was! I am so grateful my family stayed healthy and have found ways to thrive amidst the social distancing (porch visits are a new favorite for all of us!). Additionally Loft Two Designs has grown to the point of having to say no to new clients so that I could continue to provide the best possible service to my existing clients. It wasn’t an easy choice for me, but it’s what was best for my business 😊 Loft Two continues to thrive and I expect nothing less for 2022.
