It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend Burt from Burt's Electronics on February 12, 2026. Out of respect for his wife, please call and/or text 914-388-9358 only if you have repairs to be picked up.

There was a knock on my door at home in the early pre dawn hours.....

It was the police, there to inform me that my long time little music shop in Kingston has burned. As soon as I arrived there,it became obvious that the extensive damage will close the business,at least for the foreseeable future.
I've been at that intersection for decades helping to make music in your life more enjoyable, at home or on the road,and to provide service to make it all easier for you.
But now I'm heartbroken to have to tell you that I've been stopped by this disaster.
It's only been a day; I need to examine what the future might hold for me,and how I could continue to provide you the quality and great value products that enrich your life with music....
...There's considerable effort and resources required to restore things....
In the meantime,I'm here if you need to ask me anything.
Once the shock subsides, I'll determine what the future holds for Burt's Electronics, and I'll share that with you here as I recover.
