Another day.. Another cyber attack.. The article we are reporting on was copied from our account on LinkedIn. This is what we know so far..
From Tim Larnier of Stryker. (President of the Inari Division)
"Over the past several days, teams across Stryker have been working around the clock to safely restore our systems following the recent cyber incident.
In Peripheral Vascular, where our technologies support physicians treating deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism, we know how critical it is that clinicians have the devices they need when they need them. Our focus has been on maintaining continuity so physicians can continue caring for patients without interruption.
The safety of our customers and the quality of our products remain our top priorities. Our products and our customers are safe. The incident has been contained, and we are now in the restoration phase, which is progressing steadily. Our teams are working closely with customers and third-party experts to support business continuity and keep critical devices moving to the physicians who depend on them.
I also want to reassure our customers that it is safe for Stryker sales representatives to be onsite in hospitals and facilities, and safe to communicate with Stryker personnel by phone or email.
We are grateful for the support we have received during this time. The responsibility we share in healthcare drives everything we do, and we will continue to keep stakeholders informed as we make progress.
