Hello Kuna and all of our clients we call family!
It has come to our attention that some think we are no longer in business. That is the farthest thing from the truth. We simply just adapted. As we all know, during COVID, everything changed. We had to do things from our homes; we had to make things work differently. In that, we realized that the service we provide could be done from any location. We simply moved our repair location, not closed the doors.

We continue to be a part of this awesome community and our clients come from all over the valley to be taken care of. We are here to serve you and your technology needs. We are not gone, but we have become more flexible. Instead of having standard business hours, we cater our hours to your needs. We are by appointment only. If you need to bring a computer in before work, we can do that. If you need to pick up a computer after work, we can do that. When it is by appointment, it is so much easier than you trying to make sure that you can make it in before we close. We’ve got you!

We also have the ability to do pick-up and drop off. If you are home bound or without a vehicle… we’ve got you!

During all of these changes, we also have “day jobs”. What this allows for us to do is focus on serving in this crazy economy. As a family that is part of the community, we understand the challenges of making ends meet and we do everything we can to provide you a service that you can afford and quality that is consistent. We’ve got you!

Technology is longer a luxury, but a necessity we cannot live without. It can be overwhelming when your computer breaks or Microsoft is no longer supporting the operating system. This, can cause serious issues to your job or daily life. We’ve got you!

As most have seen with the updates of Windows 10 being phased out as of mid-October, there are ways to extend the service life of it. It is not a fix to keeping your old equipment, but can stretch the time that is needed before your budget takes a hit.

As a long-term member of this community and a spouse that is part of the Kuna Fire District board, we are committed to serving you to the best of our ability! We are not gone… we are actually here more than ever. We’ve got you Kuna!

Hello Kuna! Those that have been part of our Haletek family since 2017 when we opened our doors have seen our location change a couple times (thank you for following). All of these changes are to try and keep serving our awesome community and continue to offer fair pricing. We have moved to our final location.
The rising costs of pretty much everything around us, it is tough to keep things at a price we believe is fair. In order to keep the costs down and stay open, we are by appointment only at the new location. You can schedule an appointment through TEXT or through FB messenger (text is faster).
Why text only? As most people, we get 40-80 spam calls a day. These calls take time even to just hang up once you find out that your car warranty has expired. So to combat this, our initial contact is through text or FB messenger.

We are doing everything we can to continue to serve our community and take care of our neighbors. This seems to be the next evolution of business. Rest assured, we are not going anywhere and are always here to help!

Starlink - I wanted to update everyone on an upcoming internet service. Starlink has been doing beta with different areas of the U.S. and is now available in our area. If you go to www.starlink.com you can enter your address and email and you should receive an email back with instructions for getting started. Understand that this service is not for everyone. It has a $499 equipment fee and the service is $99/mo. For those that have had poor service or experience with any of the wireless providers or local providers in the area or just can't get anything stable, this could be just the thing you have been waiting for. Haletek can help you with installation or setup if needed. This equipment is so well thought out that you really just need to plug it in and the rest happens automatically. PM or Text us if you have any specific questions. I have been using it for a little over a week now and it has been more stable than other options we have.
**Remember, this is still in beta.**

With so many people shopping on line over the past several months, phishing emails are coming through the inbox more than ever. Just received one today from "Amazon" that asked to log in to verify my account. You will see that like PayPal, if the email doesn't address your name that is on your Amazon account, it is not legit. Also, if you look at the email address, it is from a string that doesn't exist. This email was from a Microsoft 365 address. Amazon has their own email. Lastly - if you are curious if your account is suspended or compromised, log into the site directly, not from an email. Type in a clean URL and if your account has an issue, when you goto your account area, it will be on your main screen. This email also has an attachment. We know that Amazon doesn't communicate that way. Silly Phishers. Happy Friday!

Hello Kuna Peeps! We wanted to let everyone know that Haletek is here to help! We understand that people get busy and when things break, they don’t break at a time that is convenient for us.
As most know, Haletek is a family run shop and we do our best to keep our prices affordable and will do anything we can to help our community. Due to the ups and downs of business we have had to change our business model again (I know.. again). We are now doing everything by appointment. You can text us at the main number 208-283-2145 or send us a Facebook message for an appointment. We are onsite Monday-Friday from 8AM–5PM. We are available for appointments from 7AM-6PM Monday–Friday and Saturdays from 10AM-4PM.
We wanted to remain a place you can bring your computers to and know that you will be taken care of while being able to provide for our family.

Hello Kuna-
You might have noticed that the outside of the Haletek shop has changed. Some may know that Evan Hale is also a Realtor. Evan has been a realtor for a couple of years and has decided to split the Haletek shop to serve the needs of both of our clients.
As of October 1st, our Homes of Idaho office is open and ready to serve you in any real estate needs you may have. We STILL have our tech area and are ready to serve you in any of your technical needs.
Stop in and ask questions about your computer, your audio/video needs, your internet, TV services, cell phone services OR your REAL ESTATE NEEDS!
Haletek has new hours - We are open Monday - Friday from 9a-5p and Saturday's by appointment.

Hello Everyone! Hope your summer is going well.

We would like to thank all those that have come into our shop and allowed us to serve you this past year. Our goal when we opened the store front was to serve the community. Whether you are a resident or a business in Kuna, you have been our focus.
Over the past year we have had many requests to go to people’s homes and businesses to help with computers and electronics. In response to this request we have decided to adjust our hours to meet both the in store and in-home needs of our customers.
Starting on 8/1, our new store hours will be Tuesday-Friday from 12PM to 6PM. Mondays, Saturdays and weekday mornings will be reserved for serving our clients with in-home visits and installs. We are always able to be reached by calling, texting, emailing or Facebook. Just get in touch with us to schedule an appointment at your home or business.

Whether you are a resident or a business in Kuna, you are our focus. Because of the awesome community we live in, if this doesn’t serve the needs of the people they way you all need, we will adjust. Thank you again for allowing us to serve you!
