I was wondering where the brush eating goats slept at night! Found them tucked in for the night next to the Rose Bowl. The dogs with them were guarding them while they slept. They do have an electric fence keeping them safe from coyotes, but it wasn’t turned on while I was there last night. A big thanks to the goats for clearing out the brush before any fires can start.

Took the kids to see Louisiana grandma last month. Yes, it was hot, yes, I was still injured from all of my falls, but we had a great time meeting up with LA friends and Whitman classmate. Always have to get an airboat tour even though my mom lives on a lake with a gator in it. Ate good food, and got to relax a little in the country before heading our separate ways. Caroline is in Florence for her study abroad and James and friends are backpacking through Europe and met up with Caroline in Milan. Was their travel abroad at LSU available in the 80’s and I just didn’t know? I want a do over!
