A day late, but this was too good not to share. 😂

Payphones aren't the only fossils out there, either. Every now and then we come across an old phone system tucked away in a back closet that's been quietly hanging on for decades.

Some of those things might outlive us all. 📞😆

Well played, National Park Service!

National Fossil Day is an annual celebration held to highlight the scientific and educational value of paleontology and the importance of preserving fossils for future generations.

Just like parks, fossils come in all shapes and sizes! In fact, nearly 300 National Park Service areas preserve fossils, with 16 established wholly or in part just for their fossils (not counting payphones).

We came across this one a couple of weeks ago and saved it so we wouldn't spoil the puzzle for anyone.

We recently installed service for a new customer, and she sent us this afterward:

That last part especially means a lot to us. Technology is what we provide, but taking care of people is what we want to be known for. 😊

Do you enjoy figuring out how things work, solving problems, and working directly with customers? Would you rather have some variety in your day than sit behind a desk doing the same thing over and over? You may be a great fit for our team.

We’re looking for someone who:

🔧 Enjoys hands-on technical work
💻 Understands networking, Ethernet wiring, routers, and switches
🧠 Can troubleshoot problems without relying on a script
🤝 Communicates clearly and patiently with customers
✅ Is dependable, organized, and comfortable managing their day
🪜 Doesn’t mind climbing ladders, working outdoors, or getting into tight spaces

This role combines phone and internet installations with Tier 1 technical support. One day, you might install a new phone system. The next, you could mount internet equipment, run cable, train a customer, or solve a support issue.

We provide a company vehicle and fuel card, three weeks of paid time off to start, and full benefits from day one.
