Church tech tip that saves a Sunday morning:

Set your sound-booth and office computers to do Windows updates on a weekday — never leave them to chance on Sunday.

Go to Settings, then Windows Update, then Advanced options, and set your active hours to cover your service times. Then restart that booth computer on a Thursday or Friday, so any surprises show up when there is time to fix them.

We set this up for churches and small offices across Middle Tennessee. If your booth computer has ever restarted mid-service, we should talk.

🔒 A quick, calm heads-up for website owners

You may have seen headlines about "PHP2Shell." Here's what it means in plain English. Researchers using AI found two flaws in PHP, the code behind roughly 70% of websites, including most WordPress sites. A fix came out yesterday.

Your home internet and personal computers aren't directly affected. The risk is to websites that haven't been updated yet.

Many small businesses and churches run WordPress without even knowing it, through a website, a donation page or an online store. There's no need to panic, but we'd recommend getting someone you can trust to check your website. If you'd like a local hand, call Grace Technology at (615) 280-0566.
