Fiber break has been located just north of Thib’s on 26.

There was a wreck there this morning and when the vehicle was pulled out of the ditch by the wrecker both the conduit and fiber were destroyed

There are no spare fibers to roll to so a temp cable is being pulled into place and then spliced.

ETR is 6pm-7pm

There are multiple techs in the field still working on finding the exact location of the fiber cut.

There appears to be a fiber cut between Jennings and Hathaway.

We have techs on the way to investigate.

Copper thieves cut the fiber span again going after the 600ct copper.

This is just south of the S-Curve between Jennings and Lake Arthur.

Fiber crews are on the way to perform repairs.

Areas Impacted : Some customers being serviced by the tower near LAHS on Tiger Lane in Lake Arthur.

We are aware of the current outage. It appears we took some lightning damage in the storm 2 days ago and we have an Access Point that decided to die at 7:44PM.

Climbers are getting geared up to do a night climb and get this replaced.

Will update this post as soon as work is complete.

Crews for both Conterra and ATT are onsite as well as deputies from JDPSO.

Copper thieves cut the copper lines and also took out the fiber. This is just south of the S-Curve on 26. Seriously the copper is valued at only $30 for what they stole.

ATT said they did this near the S-Curve on 26 2 weeks ago.

Crews are working and ETR is around 11:00AM.

Will update if anything changes.

Date - Wednesday, 9/3/2025
Time - 11:00PM - 4:00AM
Impact - All internet services will be unavailable during this time.

We will be performing emergency maintenance tonight starting at 11:00PM - 4:00AM. This work should take less than 2 hours but could go as long as 4:00AM.

We will be swapping out our core routers during this time.

We will update this post once the work has started and once complete.

Power is out at the Hardy Rice Drier. We aren't sure why, Entergy has been called. Our backup batteries have been depleted.

There is a lift that takes you up 150ft to the top when there is power. Our climbers are getting geared up to climb the ladder to get power restored up top via a generator.

Definitely a unique situation.

ETR is around 10:00AM.
