Job Summary
Looking for a candidate with design experience in injection molding and plastics. Experience with robotics and automation is highly preferred. This is a possible temp-to-perm opportunity.

Mechanical Engineering is responsible for designing and developing components, mechanisms, systems, and finished products/equipment. The ideal candidate should demonstrate working knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, translate requirements into specifications and designs with moderate guidance, develop and execute test protocols, independently analyze and solve technical problems, and apply engineering knowledge to a variety of standard activities while working in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Design sheet metal, plastic, and machined parts and assemblies for automation equipment.
* Analyze and test part and assembly designs to ensure they meet design specifications, cost goals, and manufacturability requirements.
* Contribute to a multidisciplinary research and development team to develop innovative systems related to pharmaceutical automation.
* Work closely with in-house engineers, technicians, and external vendors to develop cost-effective mechanical prototypes supporting electrical and software subsystems.
* Document part and system designs for sourcing, inspection, and internal use.
Required Skills & Experience
* Bachelorβs degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
* 7+ years of related work experience.
* Experience with solid modeling and analysis tools; SolidWorks experience preferred.
* Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong multitasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
