We’ve been a hard “no” on the trad-wife trend 🙅‍♀️ but grannycore is a slow-living version we can get on board with.

After a few years (maybe decades?) of brands trying to be minimal & polished, we’re all craving more comfort and coziness. And grannycore is giving it to us 👵🌼🧶

A few of our favorite ways to play with this trend:
- Adding cute little ruffles on the sides of *everything*
- Floral patterns that feel like vintage wallpaper
- Scrapbook-style layouts (also doing well on IG lately!)
- Layering textures, patterns, photos, borders, etc.

Most of the trends we’re seeing rise up this year are definitely about feeling more human and less AI-generated… which is a refreshing and much needed change.

Okaaaay this might be a bit of an exaggeration because we’ll ALWAYS adore every single subtle shade of beige (and eggshell and off-white and ivory, etc.)

BUT, in 2026, design is trending away from minimalism and toward color + imperfection, and we’re here for it 👏

Soulful with a side of 80s charm? Say less 😍
Sundaybird — Part 1 // The Creative Direction

Erin & Tim are back for their *third* brand with us (🥰) and we could NOT be more stoked about this one.

At this point, we know anything they bring us is going to be good, because their concepts are always super layered.

Somehow they’re able to tap into a specific time + place that we can all relate to… mix in their upscale-but-approachable vibe… and then add fresh + playful bits that make the whole thing memorable.

It’s truly an art form (teach us your ways, Erin & Tim!) and also a blast to visualize & design.

And as fellow 80s babies, the nostalgia really hit home for us.

We played with shapes, stickers + patterns that feel like a blast from the past… and balanced it out with modern bits like a fresh color palette and updated illustration style.

Nostalgic + feel-good + warm + playful 💖

🤩Brand Reveal 🤩

We LOVE a brand that’s full of mixed messages 💬✨
Combining vibes & colors that don’t usually play together is literally the most fun.

For this brand, our first inspiration came from the French lifestyle… things like a classic silhouette or a striped pattern. It’s curated & polished & timeless.

Then comes the wink… adding the cheeky, playful elements. Bringing in bolder colors, a scalloped edge, stripes that aren’t quite perfect. Pushing it into something unique, interesting, and unexpected.

This brand is all about having fun with fashion… saying OUI to mixed patterns and pops of neon and the big smile you get when you open your closet.

So excited to watch this brand grow! ✨

Say Oui — Part 2
👀Sneak Peek 👀

The first time we had the joy of working with our client Amanda was on a brand & website for La Petite Maison, a boutique shop specializing in authentic French handpicked goods ✨

She’s a lover of all things charming & quirky, which is so fun for us because there’s sooo much room to play.

When she came to us with her newest idea for a playful, french-inspired clothing brand called “Say Oui,” we were Sure overflowing with ideas.

And we knew a big piece of the puzzle would be making sure it tied back to the parent brand. One of the ways we did that was through the brand mark 🎀

The bow was already part of the La Petite Maison identity, and when we brought it into Say Oui as a supporting graphic, Amanda knew it needed to be a bigger part of the brand.

So we reimagined it in a fresh new style that matches the vibe of this brand✨

Our favorite part is the sweet, slightly naive feel of the icon, and how it adds a cheeky little feminine touch.

⭐️ The Creative Direction ⭐️

With every branding project, before we get into the logos & the patterns & the fonts (oh my!)... we spend time getting clear on the vision 💫

It starts with a brain dump (aka our Onboarding Guide) where we get everything out of your head and into ours.

Then during our Strategy Session, we go through your Pinterest board and have you describe what speaks to you about each image.

We *could* just look at your board and pick up on the vibe, but when we hear YOU describe exactly what you like, in your own words, we pick up all sorts of nuggets that we can design into your brand to make it even more meaningful and unique 💝

Next we take all those inputs, add our own expertise, and come up with fresh ideas to add into the mix.

What we end up putting back in front of you is hopefully even better than what you could’ve dreamt up.

That’s the Creative Direction ✨

For this brand, it was all about the unexpected. Classic French details with a twist… curated + timeless, but also cheeky + playful.
