I started my first flower garden as a middle-schooler after dreaming up and drawing garden designs. Now I use Photoshop to envision my plantings and am plotting which section of my yard to cultivate next. You may have heard "storytelling" as a marketing buzzword over the last decade. But when your client is truly all about storytelling, this concept takes on a whole different depth!

It was a fun challenge to create a new brand identity and website for the Kentucky Storytelling Association. The new look is lyrical and better encapsulates who they are and what they're about as an organization.

This was also a great first website collab with Sara Vecchi, who is now partnering with me to bring more great design to small businesses and nonprofits.

I am passionate about uplifting nonprofits, so it's been a privilege to work with Fresh Start Frankfort to develop a brand that echoes where they have been as an organization, while looking to the future.

If you're in Frankfort, look for ways you can support this organization as they offer hope and fresh starts to women in recovery.

In addition to being a garden girl, I'm a lifetime bird nerd! I fell hard for birds as a kid, and it's only gotten worse over time.

As a printmaker, much of my fine art focuses on birds. So I was thrilled to partner with to present my exhibit, Ink & Aves this spring. You can see it from March 6 through April 27 at the Center.

Meet me and the other exhibiting artist, Regina Dorfmeyer, at a reception on Thursday, March 6. It's free, but registration is required (link in stories).
