We are excited to announce that SkinIO has joined the iLab as the newest resident in our 2022 program! SkinIO, a virtual skin cancer screening platform, will work with the iLab and our partners to provide employees and members access to both onsite and at-home teledermatology screening options.

Having a mostly remote team, our all-hands might look a bit different than traditional in-office meetings. It can be tricky to get everyone online at once, so we try to make our team meetings informative, fun, and tailored to our company culture. All-hands also gives us an opportunity to celebrate new roles within the company, like today.

We’re excited to share that Dr. Scott Schell has been named CEO of Clio GO, a subsidiary of Aspire Ventures. Dr. Schell joined Aspire in 2018 as a Managing Partner and serves as Chief Medical Officer for the organization. He brings extensive clinical expertise in healthcare delivery, medical diagnostics, population health, care management, and biotechnology. We are looking forward to having your expertise lead the Clio GO team.

Also, it wouldn’t have been a team meeting if we didn’t take a photo! Looking forward to our next All-hands!

With COVID-19 vaccines not authorized quite yet and the recent spike in cases, people still need to take precautions to prevent the spread of the virus. This is why Aspire has focused on crowd tracing since the start of the pandemic earlier this year. Crowd tracing uses AI and machine learning to determine your COVID-19 risk within a group of people whether that’s at a restaurant, gym, or private event.

Aspire Ventures is excited to announce a collaboration with Amazon Web Services to share COVID-19 data in Amazon’s data lake. The data available will contain COVID-19 data which will help experts track, contain, and neutralize the virus causing the illness. The information will include crowd tracing data which will show how much risk is associated with entering a particular venue and the business’ adherence to social distancing guidelines.

GO Pass Personal allows you to request an event screening survey from your own mobile device. You can send all of your event attendees a COVID-19 screening survey before the date of your event, or holiday gathering. The attendees will pre-screen themselves which will send the host the results to ensure the health & safety of all visitors at the event.

The launch of GO Pass will make check-in and COVID-19 screenings quick and simple, for staff and visitors, without disrupting workflow.

With GO Pass, users complete a COVID-19 screening and biometric analysis to determine their risk, and then anonymously assert their COVID-19 risk level to safely gain access to venues like restaurants, gyms, work, schools, friend’s houses, doctor’s offices, sports arenas and concerts.
