Let's call this one "A tale of Laughter and Shattered Glass" Here we go:

At Pennant Creatives, we celebrated New Year's Eve the only way we know how – with a living room dance party that has become a legendary tradition! 💃🕺

This year, as the clock ticked closer to midnight, one of our fearless dancers unleashed a move so epic, it shattered our living room mirror. The gasps were audible, but what followed was pure magic.

Amidst gut-wrenching laughter, we swiftly transformed our dance floor, ensuring everyone's safety and avoiding the impending danger of glass shards. The show went on, with laughter echoing through the house as we reenacted the dance moves that brought down the mirror.

Breaking glass on New Year's Eve might not be the most auspicious start, but for us, it became a symbol of embracing the unpredictable. We laughed at the unexpected and found joy in the moment.

After the festivities settled, we repaired the mirror and returned our home to its 'normal' state. Yet, the memory lingers on, reminding us to cherish the unpredictable and find laughter in the face of surprises.

At Pennant, it's not lost on us that even as we create beautiful strategies and captivating brands, literally anything can happen. That's why keeping our values at the heart of it all matters so much to us.

Here's to a New Year filled with unexpected joys, memorable moments, and the resilience to dance through the unpredictable twists life throws our way! 🥳✨

Lately, I have been singing this song to myself. Initially I saw the lyrics through the perspective of a parent to a child... and I like that perspective too.

If you know me, you know I love to sing and write music. I know that a song is just one way you can tap in to your innermost thoughts and feelings.

So, here I am... singing unconditional love to myself. It's going pretty well!

"A lifetime of skinned knees and heartbreak comes so easily, but a life without you would be boring for someone like me" rings so different when you sing it to your SELF.

As a woman who gets up every day to live out my dreams... singing to myself is one way I show self-compassion and self-care. Have you ever tried it?
