CDH, formerly C&D Hughes Inc., is a heavy highway construction company that was seeking a new logo. The client wanted a clean, modern logo design that represented the work the business does. What we delivered fulfilled their requests for modern and representational design while also paying homage to the excavator in the original logo.

Thank you to C & D Hughes, Inc. for trusting Ciesa with your branding and design needs.

A great night of celebration, commemoration, and big reveals for Old Town at Sip Happens! It was a pleasure to sponsor the event through graphic direction and design — supporting our neighbors and friends of Old Town in the process.

Thank you to all who worked tirelessly to make this event happen. We ❤️ Old Town!

We’re excited to share our official logo redesign for the Mid-Michigan Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area (MMCISMA)!

The final direction is born and inspired from the original design. Essentially turning the fidelity k**b up on what was already there. The county lines form the base grid of the logo and the incorporated iconography speaks to Michigan and the native Michigan habitats the MMCISMA is fighting to protect. The result is a modern and eye-catching logo that will help spread awareness and recognition for their cause.

Shoutout to Mid-Michigan Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area for all that you do to protect our native Michigan landscapes and thank you for choosing Ciesa Design for your creative needs!

We know it’s easy to get lost in the sauce and procrastinate (as creatives do) but this is your reminder to get your submissions in for the 2026 Never Saw the Light of Day Awards. The awards will take place on Tuesday, September 15th, with a submission deadline of September 1st, which is approaching quickly! With 9 awards categories, there’s certainly a place for your art to be brought back from the dead.

If you have any finished artwork that never saw the light of day, submit your work (btw, it’s only $5) by Tuesday, September 1st.

Here's the super simple way to enter:
Just fill out the Google Form on aaflansing.org and submit your payment before September 1st!

The awards show at Urban Beat on September 15th will include a cash bar, appetizers, and live audience voting. We can’t wait to see those submissions!
