Our company still stands after 15 years because as an owner I have learned every trade, every machine, and continuously hire for character instead of skill. I can build skill in my team, but character is priceless. No job is ever beneath me, I will scrub toilets if the shop needs it. I will play receptionist. I will make sure that no matter what my customers can come back to a shop that is still open, has records of all their orders and artwork, and is standing ready to help their company or event.
