Last week, we spent time onsite with the team at Tru-Form Foundations, Inc. in New Hampshire.

For concrete contractors, the difference between a smooth day and a chaotic one often comes down to coordination. When crews, schedules, and field communication are aligned, teams spend less time firefighting and more time moving jobs forward.

That's exactly what we worked through with the Tru-Form team as they continue refining planning processes, workforce coordination, and field operations ahead of the busy season.

What stood out most wasn't the process. It was the mindset.

A team engaged, asking great questions, and committed to continuous improvement.

Huge thanks to Josh Krook, Ben Krook, Alison Ketola, and the entire Tru-Form team for their time, insights, and hospitality.

We're grateful for the partnership and excited to continue helping bring more clarity, coordination, and control to their operation.

Most concrete contractors don’t have a crew problem. They have a coordination problem.

Schedules live in spreadsheets. Updates happen through endless calls and texts. One change turns into five. Everyone spends the day reacting instead of operating from the same plan.

After a while, the chaos just becomes “normal.”

Concrete moves too fast for disconnected systems. These are the operational issues we hear from concrete contractors every day.

See how Retti helps concrete contractors replace spreadsheets, calls, texts, and whiteboards with one real-time operational system.

In markets like Moorhead, Minnesota, you don’t get 12 months to build a year. You get six.

Earlier this month, Opatril Concrete Construction, Inc welcomed Retti’s Director of Customer Success, Billy Bishop, onsite to get dialed in for the season ahead.

From owners to project managers, supervisors, and foremen, everyone was at the table.

The focus?

Getting scheduling and workforce planning locked in before things ramp up.

We worked through:
• The realities of pouring concrete in extreme winter climates
• Coordinating tight schedules where everything depends on everything
• Scaling operations without adding chaos

What stood out most wasn’t just the operational complexity. It was the mindset.

A team aligned, asking the right questions, and committed to getting better before the season even starts.

Huge thanks to Mike Stotts, Bjarne Rustad, Dan Holum, Zak Driscoll, Lance Henning, Dan Kraft, Jeremy Gieseke, and Joe Kiedrowski for the time, collaboration, and can-do attitude.

This is how strong seasons are built, before the first pour even happens.

Most concrete teams don’t have a people problem. They have an operations problem.

We’ve seen it across the industry:
great crews, strong work ethic… but everything around them is scattered.

Spreadsheets for scheduling.
Group texts for updates.
Phone calls to fill the gaps.
Whiteboards trying to hold it all together.

It works, but it creates constant friction.

That’s why we built Retti.

A platform designed specifically for concrete contractors to bring clarity and control to field operations.

So everyone knows:
who’s on each job
where they need to be
and what’s happening next

No more guessing. No more scrambling.

Just smoother ex*****on across every job.

If the chaos sounds familiar, it’s worth taking a look.

Another successful onsite Retti implementation with Midwest Poured Walls, Inc. out of Omaha, Nebraska.

In concrete, keeping crews, concrete orders, pumps, inspections, and job readiness aligned in real time is what separates smooth days from constant fire drills.

That’s exactly what we worked through onsite this week.

Huge thank you to Neil Hoebelheinrich for driving this forward, and to Steve Steffen, Shane Davis, Neil Curtis, and James Vega for the time, effort, and all-hands approach to getting Retti up and running.

The Midwest Poured Walls team showed what it looks like when a group is aligned, engaged, and committed to improving how they operate across the field and the office.

Excited to see the impact this drives.
