Windows 10 End of Support is approaching fast!

Microsoft is ending security updates and patches for Windows 10 on October 14th. If you still have Windows 10 on your PC, there are a few things that you can do.....

1.) Upgrade your PC to Windows 11. This is the best option and is free for most people, but can only be done if your computer isn't too old. Generally about 4 to 5 years old or newer. Microsoft provides an app that can check to see if your computer is eligible for the free upgrade. You can download it at: https://aka.ms/GetPCHealthCheckApp

2.) If your computer is too old to upgrade to Windows 11, Microsoft is offering a free one year extension for many users. Many of our customers have been eligible for this extension. It is called the Extended Security Updates program. To enroll in the free Windows 10 Extended Security Updates (ESU) program, go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update on a Windows 10 (version 22H2) PC, and click the "Enroll now" link that appears under the support-ends heading. You will need to sign in with a Microsoft account and can choose to get the extended updates for free by selecting the option to sync your PC settings to OneDrive.

3.) If neither of the first two options are available, it is highly recommended that you get a newer PC that has Windows 11 installed. We can help you out with that. We can transfer your settings, files and shortcuts to make the transition as easy as possible.

Just a heads up for our customers. Next week, they will be paving a section of road in front of the store. It will last Monday and Tuesday for sure. Possibly continue until Friday.

You will need to park at the next block if you want to come into the store. If you need assistance carrying something, please don't hesitate to call us at 724-532-1095 and as always, we are more than happy to carry items to or from your vehicle.

We were just informed that Comcast is working in the area to upgrade services. Our phone service will be intermittent for the entire day. If you try to call us and it goes to voicemail, please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can. You can also email us if you need to get a hold of us. We want to give a heartfelt thanks to the soldiers that have given the ultimate sacrifice and to their families who still suffer their loss. We couldn't be here without you!

The store will be closed on Memorial Day so that our employees can spend time with their families We will open on Tuesday at 9 AM.

EDIT: At around 11:30, the road is now open, but there is still a work truck in front of the store. You should be able to park close to the store now.

There has been a water line break in front of our store. Crews are working on it as we speak. They have blocked off the streets about a block away, so you can't get to the store directly.

If you are stopping in, you'd have to park a block away and walk. If you have a computer with you, call us at 724-532-1095 and we will gladly come meet you and carry it in.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I will let everyone know as soon as they have it repaired and roads are opened.
