First grade fun!
1st grade learned about giraffes all week through both fiction and nonfiction texts! They talked about the differences between the two, learned how animals have different body parts that help them survive and meet their needs, and finished the week with a STEM challenge where they had to use problem-solving skills to design and build their own giraffe!
